University between Global Challenges and Local Commitments
We are pleased to announce that the 7th International Conference organized by the Russian Association of Higher Education Researchers will be held in Moscow on October, 20th – 22th, 2016. Researchers and educators interested in the higher education development gather annually at the Conference in order to discuss challenges and goals facing universities and their stakeholders (students, faculty, administrators, graduates etc.). The special topic of the Conference 2016 is “University between Global Challenges and Local Commitments”. However, the Program of the Conference will cover a wide range of issues.
We invite speakers and participants to contribute to discussions according to the following tracks:
Track 1. A System of Higher Education on the Global Market
This track seeks to understand global challenges which contemporary university faced with, strategies for improving global competitiveness and barriers to entry to global market.
Track 2. A System of Higher Education and Local Context
This track explores issues related to how contemporary university manages local tasks related to contributing to regions and cities development.
Track 3. University Organizational Structure in the Age of Global and Local Challenges
In this track, we seek proposals discussing organizational design of specific universities, changes in their structure and functioning, merges and reorganization processes in higher education institutions that are related to the need of universities to handle global challenges and to solve local tasks.
Track 4. Research and Publication Strategies of Contemporary Universities
Research on scientific productivity assessment and strategies on increasing scientific output or research policy of contemporary universities is especially welcomed in this track.
Track 5. Learning and Development in a Contemporary University
This track explores peculiarities of student learning and development in a contemporary university, organization of learning process and new educational technologies, such as massive open online courses (MOOCs), project-based learning etc.
Track 6. Inclusive Higher Education: Quality and Accessibility
This track explores strategy and advanced higher education model for students with disabilities, aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of education.
Track 7. Other
If your proposal topic is not related to the tracks above, the Program Committee will consider it in the seventh track.
